Q: What is an ePage? A:
An ePage is a one page snapshot on your New Hampshire business. It
provides you a way to communicate the important details about your
company, product or service, provide contact information, email link,
gather quotes or allow visitors to print coupons or specials without
necessarily having to dig through your entire web site. Of course,
if they require more information, unlike print advertising or yellow
page directories, they get one-click access to your web site. Think
of it as a full-color, full-page, rich graphical interactive ad that
gives New Hampshire consumers easy snapshot information on your business,
while driving more traffic to you and your business web site. Click
here for an example.
Q: I have purchased and eCard/ePage,
and I'd like to add more keywords to increase the chances visitors
will find me, can I do this? A:
Yes. As of this writing, you must contact
us and tell us what additional keywords you would like to add
to your business listing. In the very near future, every paid business
member will have access to their own secure digital dashboard, a private
page to view how your ad is performing, what are the hot keywords
users searching in your category are using, and the ability to modify
your keywords, etc.
Q: I have a business already listed
for free in another directory online; why should I pay to be a part
of GranitePages.com? A: To understand why many of "those" sites are offering free
listings you need to understand a little bit about marketing. You
may have heard of an Internet company that provides a free listing
out there somewhere... a so called yellow pages on the net, so you
list your business and still wait for business to come in from the
Internet like they said it would.
Most of those sites are banner or ad supported (meaning other big-name
advertisers provide revenue for those directories by paying to flash
their message all over their site. This allows companies like yours
to be thrown in for free.) So, as you could imagine, most of the time,
FREE ends up not having much value. But what the heck, it's free!
You can put your business in a hundred places on the world wide web,
but it doesn't mean anyone will bump into you. As a business person,
you should want to know how that site is being promoted and how and
what type of traffic is being generated. No traffic, no clicks, no
visits to your web site. If no one has ever heard of it or uses it
to find business, what's the point of free?
GranitePages.com exists to end that. We are a co-op of NH businesses
large and small sharing the cost by paying a small monthly fee. This
allows us to spend a portion of those costs with traditional advertising
mediums (i.e. TV, Radio, Billboard, direct mail, etc.) driving local
NH residents to our site.
Q: I don't have a website, how can
GranitePages.com help my local business? A:
Simple! Get your company a custom ePage! At a mere fraction of the
cost of a full blown website, you can be up on the web in no time!
If your looking to develop a web site, contact our design
department.

everywhere, where do you promote GranitePages.com to New Hampshire? A:

Granite State that someone isn't hearing about us. Currently, we have
local TV, cable, radio and direct and electronic mail slated. To get

Q: How do you know what people are
searching for in GranitePages.com? A:
We use our own technology, called SearchMechanic. Everytime
a visitor to GranitePages.com executes a search, it is logged in real-time.
If the search term was not found in our comprehensive database of
keywords and business listings when they searched, it was instantly
reviewed as to it's relevance and then added to the engine making
the results even better on the next search. In a sense, everytime
visitors use GranitePages.com, they make it smarter!
P.S. As a business subscriber, you get a sneek-peek at all of the
actual keyword searches related to your business category, giving
you the edge to enhance your own listing and increasing your chances
of getting found by New Hampshire visitors.
Q: Are you associated with the yellow
page print directories or the phone company? A:
No. We are a team of New Hampshire entrepreneurs, adequately backed
financially with a management team from the New Hampshire area. Our
board of advisors consist of individual business owners and CEO'S
of many extremely successful companies. We are members of the local
chambers, NH High Tech Council, and we have developed relationships
with some of the larger companies in the state.
In the past, the phone book has been an asset to every household but
times are changing. Our goal is to "Change the Way New
Hampshire Finds You."
We are preparing for the day when consumers find you with their handheld
computers, dashboard car monitors and home media centers when
the net is as common as the television set. According to some experts,
we are only experiencing 5% of the Internet's potential. We have set
up our directory to be not only user friendly but highly visible (through
advertising in traditional ways) and more flexible than traditional
print advertising. (i.e. Making changes, broader reach, co-op advertising.)
