January 2003 - NHphonebook.com relaunches under new management.
Despite what was an extremely unpredictable "dot-bomb" during the year 2000, NHphonebook.com has been working behind the scenes over the past few years revamping it's technology and brand in order to relaunch stronger than ever. Back in 1999 and 2000, NHphonebook in it's peak was attracting 30-40,000 unique NH users each month connecting them with local merchants throughout the Granite State.

Plans for the future include advertising and promotions campaigns to recreate awareness and drive traffic, as well as implementing proprietary technologies giving even better search results as well as creating a first for NH businesses—a digital dashboard, allowing business subscribers who list their businesses to measure the results of their listings in real-time. This sophisticated performance engine will be available to NH businesses who advertise or list their businesses with either an ePage or an eCard (click here to look at these listing options.).

Highlighting the first quarter will be two technologies that are designed to give both users of the site and paid business members a greater experience.

First is our Search Mechanic Technology. Through the real-time search capture and amendment of the search results, we not only know what visitors are searching for, but we can also immediately increase the quality of specific search results every time a search is executed.

The second technology is our business member Digital Dashboard. This secure area will provide individual NH businesses with access to real-time listing performance. Unlike any other form of advertising or ad budget, this technology will empower the paid business member with real-time stats as to how their listing is performing. (i.e. how many people searched for my business category last week, yesterday, today, or within the last ten minutes. How many visitors saw my listing, click-thru or visited my business listing, etc.)
